Both Peter Natedal and Thomas Kalvatn Egset come from a long family line of furniture making and retailing. Natedal and Kalvatn Egset both graduated with a Masters in Furniture Design from the Oslo National Academy of Arts. Porsgrunn based Natedal works in his family’s furniture shop where he mainly creates and design furniture, provide 3D modelling and direct hotel interior projects. Kalvatn Egset works as an independent furniture designer based in Oslo and names his grandfather, a former furniture craftsman as one of his key inspirations. Together, the duo collaborated to design the Diva Lamp for contemporary Scandinavian brand Northern Lighting.
