Both Soren Nissen Ebbe Gehl were trained cabinetmakers at Rud Rasmussen’s workshop in Copenhagen and started their partnership in 1970. Since then, they have been rather productive as furniture designers, designing many pieces for international furniture brands such as the Naver Collection. Given their cabinetmaker backgrounds, many of their designs are marked by beautiful workmanship using wood as a raw material. This award-winning duo have received international recognition and some of their designs have been exhibited in Europe, Japan and the USA. They are best known for their designs for the Naver Collection. These include an extended range of sideboards, china cabinets, coffee tables, chests of drawers and tables.
