Portugese designer Hugo Passos designs daily lifestyle objects that are familiar yet a delight to own and use. This London-based designer draws inspiration from his constant interest in the humanity of everyday items. Passos wishes to stay true to the true purpose of furniture pieces, insisting that they should serve their functional purpose above all else. That being said, he is also incredibly detailed to artistic aesthetic, the materials, the structure and the comfort that guide the final synthesis of each of his designs.

Since setting up his own design studio in 2012, Passos has amassed a list of notable clients including the Monocle magazine. Hugo Passos collaborated with Fredericia to create the Piloti Tables, a series of oakside coffee tables.

Finn Juhl was a Danish architect, interior and industrial designer, most known for his furniture design. He was one of the leading figures in the creation of “Danish design” in the 1940s, having won many accolades for his revolutionary furniture designs.
Of them, the most notable few would be the Chieftain Chair, FJ Sideboard, Poet Sofa, 46 Sofa and the France Lounge Chair. He is highly credited as one of the few designers among other iconic designers such as Borge Mogensen and Hans Wegner, who made “Danish Modern” known throughout the world.

Both Soren Nissen Ebbe Gehl were trained cabinetmakers at Rud Rasmussen’s workshop in Copenhagen and started their partnership in 1970. Since then, they have been rather productive as furniture designers, designing many pieces for international furniture brands such as the Naver Collection. Given their cabinetmaker backgrounds, many of their designs are marked by beautiful workmanship using wood as a raw material. This award-winning duo have received international recognition and some of their designs have been exhibited in Europe, Japan and the USA.

They are best known for their designs for the Naver Collection. These include an extended range of sideboards, china cabinets, coffee tables, chests of drawers and tables.

Loretta was very helpful showing me the different sofa and fabric options, e.g. we went round the showroom to see how difference fabrics would look like under different lighting conditions. I spent over an hour just deciding on the fabric and she was very patient about it. Having to wait over a month for the sofa to come in was definitely a minus but they do loan furniture without additional cost for customers, subject to availability. While that is certainty useful, my sofa came terribly stained and i had to borrow an expensive vacuum cleaner from a friend to remove the stains on my own. Delivery was smooth and they managed to accommodate a last minute change in my schedule. The sofa also looks great and is comfortable to sit/lie on.
