Hannes Wettstein is a highly regarded Swiss designer known for his innovations. He founded his own firm in 1991 which later expanded to take on projects both within Switzerland and internationally. Wettstein taught at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and later took on an appointment as a professor at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design. Studio Hannes Wettstein continued with his legacy when he passed on in 2008, and is led by designer and architect Stephan Hürlemann. The company rebranded in 2016 to what is currently known as Hürlemann.
