To make a lasting, practical choice, consider how you’ll use your sofa on a daily basis. You might love the idea of using it as a formal seating area for entertaining guests, but realistically, it may become your spot for Netflix marathons with family. Being honest about how you’ll use the sofa helps you choose the right size and style. • Large Family Sofa or Sectional: Ideal if you entertain regularly or have a large family. A sectional offers ample seating while creating a cozy, defined space. • Compact Two-Seater or Loveseat: Perfect for couples or smaller spaces where a larger sofa could feel overwhelming. • L-Shaped Sofas: Great for defining seating in open-plan spaces. Choose the main arm length first, then the secondary arm, leaving enough room for comfortable movement.
